God never ceases to amaze me!  Pretty much my whole adult life I have heard about seed time and harvest time!  For the last few months God has been dropping me little clues here and there.  I try to follow His leading to the best of my discernment.  I am a giver.  If anyone knows me well then they know that about me.

Sowing Seeds

God never ceases to amaze me!  Pretty much my whole adult life I have heard about seed time and harvest time!  For the last few months God has been dropping me little clues here and there.  I try to follow His leading to the best of my discernment.  I am a giver.  If anyone knows me well then they know that about me.  I have tried my best to give the  talents of my treasure (money), my time, and my talent. I have done this for years ever since God spoke to me at my dining room table.  I remember that night because it was near my birthday!  I felt terrible! It was a Sunday and no one even wished me a happy birthday!  God asked me “have you sown into anyone else’s birthday?”  My answer was a “no”. (It has now sure changed).  Up until that point in my life I read a chapter of Proverbs everyday.  Then whenever I would get to the verse15 of Proverbs 30 I would be struck in the chest.  “15The leech has two daughters: Give and Give.”  I would question myself.  “Am I being a leach?”  Every time I would call my dad he would answer, “Hey Monk! What do you want?” (That was his nickname for me).  This was his standard unless I called him and he could tell there was something wrong with my voice. I didn’t want to feel like I was a leach - always receiving and never giving!
That birthday I was forever changed, but God is a good Father!  He allowed me to learn a lesson and feel loved! God had allowed my sister in law to put a surprise birthday party together for me.  No one told me happy birthday because they didn’t want to spoil the surprise!  That was MANY years ago now, and I have changed my ways!  I am now a giver, but one thing had been bothering me about my giving!

I know the word of God says to not compare yourselves among each other for that is not wise!  God knows I have quoted that scripture so many times that our kids quote it too!  I still sometimes feel that urge to compare what I am going through to other people.  I found myself starting to do that with our business too!  I started looking at our business and wondering when things were going to start really happening for us. That was the first big mistake.  I put my eyes on myself.  When we put our eyes on ourselves then we become me oriented!  God doesn’t bless that, but he blesses when we put our eyes on others!  Let me tell you that I have been blessing others like crazy when it comes to our business!  So I began to look around and ask God where the harvest was. I took about a month off this year and just focused on what God wanted from me.  Asking if I was on the right track.  I heard a success audio called “forging the real you” and God did an inner work in me!  The new Touch of Tammy was born!

Well, after this rebranding of our business, and the continual giving I started asking God, “okay, what’s next? What am I missing?”  I felt there was a part missing!  I reached out to my coach, Brant!  I told him what was going on and he suggested I listen to Jerry Savelle.  I had heard about him, but I was feeling sort of desperate!  I listened with an open heart and an open spirit!  I learned that I had holes in my understand of giving and God used that teaching to fill my holes in!  So I said all of that to tell you all about what I learned!

God told Adam and Eve that had dominion over everything that God had created.  They were made in God’s image!  Then they messed up and God provided Jesus for us to redeemed! Once we accept Jesus and begin to walk with him then we now have been redeemed from the curse that Adam put us under!  Now I am already a tither and I give all sorts of stuff away! Some seeds come up, but I have had more that haven’t come up than have!  A harvest is suppose to produce more than you plant!  Well, I learned this week that we have to water our seed!  Our seeds become dormant if we don’t water our seed. How do you water it?  You speak scripture and then you make a confession based upon that scripture.  I have attached some pictures below of a card I created!  If you want a copy then let me know! You speak these scriptures and confessions daily!  Speaking the scripture is watering your waters!  All those seeds that went dormant guess what?!  They can be revived!

This has set me free in a HUGE way!  I can only imagine what our harvest will look like!

What have you sown? Have you seen your harvest?  I challenge you to study this as well and see what God says to you!  This
Is a game changer for us!  I pray that it is a game changer for you as well.
