These are messages inspired by Holy Spirit throughout the years.

In the past 3 years I have gone to Longhorn Steakhouse several times.  Why?  Sometimes it was for celebration and dates with my hubby.  There were a few times that I would go just because I knew God wanted to tell or show me something.

This message title has been with me for about 2 weeks.  So much so that I keep the word “table” about every time I turn around!  I keep asking God what does He want to show me, and what does he want me to learn. Basically, all God tells me is that everything I need is at His table.  I just need to join him at the table and have a conversation with Him.

The month of December seemed like a blur at first. I tried to slow down and enjoy the season. After all it is the time when we celebrated Jesus’ birth. It wasn’t the buying of presents that weighed me down, and it wasn’t the preparation of the school’s performance. It was more than that.

Isn’t it amazing how you can read a scripture at various times in your life, and each time you read it you can learn something new from it?!  That is how it has been with me the past few days with a series of scripture.  One scripture is Isaiah 43:19.

About a month ago as I was praying about what God wanted me to speak on and  He mentioned to me “the table” and He went on to say that “everything we need is at His table”. He reminded me of Psalm 23 where He prepares a table before us in the presence of our enemies!  All we have to do is go to His table and ask.  Then God showed me that not everyone is ready to come to His table because they are afraid.

Pentecost occurs 50 days after Easter. After Jesus died and rose again he spent 40 days with the people. Then he ascended into Heaven. Before he left he told the disciples to go into Jerusalem and wait for the promise.

Have you ever dated/married  someone and then you broke up? After the breakup all you do is think about the other person? Or have you ever read something or seen something you wished you never would have read or seen because now you can’t get it out of your mind.  Does the smell or a song trigger your mind to remember something from the past that you long to forget?

God never ceases to amaze me!  Pretty much my whole adult life I have heard about seed time and harvest time!  For the last few months God has been dropping me little clues here and there.  I try to follow His leading to the best of my discernment.  I am a giver.  If anyone knows me well then they know that about me.

We hear a lot about sickness and disease. If we listen and look at the media long enough we seem to be inundated with it everywhere.  Then it makes me think about pickles. What?  Pickles?  Yes, that’s right!  I said pickles!  Pickles are made from cucumbers immersed in vinegar until they become so soaked that the cucumbers turn into pickles!

I challenge you to listen to the words and read the lyrics.  God is taking you to new places in Him.  His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts. We will overcome all evil that rises up against us. We are protected under His wings. (Psalm 91).

It’s Sunday, and I have been so overwhelmed by God’s goodness today! I have been learning about various vitamins and how they help the body. Beauty starts within, and we must love our health.

How many times have you been calling out to God, and you had friends or others around you try to stop what you wanted to receive from God?  How long have you dealt with what you are dealing with?  Are you tired of where you are?  Call out to Jesus.  Your faith in God moves Him.  Jesus calls out to you and says “come to me”.  Jesus says “I have already taken that for you.  Why are you still holding on to it.”  Let’s have the faith in God to do what Bartimeaus did!  He threw off his beggar’s cloak.

I have been a Christian since I was a little girl. Over the years I have learned so much about God. God has used me to heal people and to cast out demons. All done in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. God gets all the glory for that. However, this Easter (Resurrection Sunday) season has been different for me. I have felt different in my spirit.

This passage of scripture is talking about the church body of Christ, and how avid has designed us to each to be different,   God revealed to me last night the literally truth.  He has designed each part of us just the way He wanted us to be.

It was about ten years ago now! It seems such a short time ago! I was jumping on a trampoline with my kids, and then I couldn’t figure a way to get off the trampoline when I was finished. My mind was thinking of ways to not hurt myself. Then our oldest son, Joshua, says “come on, Moma. You’re big!”  I remember his statement made me so mad I got right off that trampoline, stormed into the house, slammed my bedroom door, sat on the bed and cried! Then I heard God whisper to me, “should you be acting that way? Any woman dressed like this?” Then he showed me this image of my standing in a beautiful, blue, sparkling  dress.  He told me that was how He saw me.  He then told me “you say you love people, but do you really?” I replied. “Yes”. Then I heard God say to me , “no, you don’t”.  Ever since that moment I have been trying to show love to people! I suppose that was when the “Touch of Tammy”  was initially birthed!

This past week a friend of mine sent me 2 Kings 4!  I asked my friend what do you want me to get out of this scripture.  My friend replied “Don’t know. God said to send it to you.”  I read the scripture and my thoughts were “I have read this before. This isn’t new to me.”  Well, this morning as I was asking God what I needed to write on today God said 2 Kings 4.  I read it again, but this time God showed me something that I hadn’t really thought about before.

I noticed that when I woke up at my 5 a.m. alarm I had trouble staying awake after reading my Bible. I would go back to sleep. Then last Friday I came home from work, ate dinner, and then went straight to bed and slept all night. I began to ask God what was going on with me? I was so tired much of the time. He reminded me to keep taking my vitamin d and to make sure I increased my water intake.

Early this morning I had a dream.  I will share it with you, but be warned that this was a graphic dream.  This morning I dreamed I was in the bathroom preparing to take a shower.  However, the shower curtain was filthy with feces on it.  The feces was being washed away by the water; however, the feces was speaking. The words that each piece of feces said were negative words.  That was the dream, and later as I was praying God said for me to write a message on how our words matter!

“The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing." (Zephaniah 3:17).This is the scripture that God has brought to my mind over the past few days. This might sound a little weird to some of you, but over the past few days I have heard singing with my natural ears. Yes, I teach music, but it’s not earthly music that I am hearing. It’s heavenly music!

Many of you probably know the story of Abraham and Isaac. Let’s recap it.Issac was the promised child of Abraham. Abraham and his wife had Issac when they were well beyond child bearing years. God told Abraham to go sacrifice his son Issac on top of a mountain. Abraham and Issac start their journey, and Issac asks where is the animal to sacrifice. Abraham tells Issac that the Lord will provide. They build an altar to God and then Issac is laid down. Abraham lifts his knife to kill his own son, and God calls out for Abraham to stop. Then that’s when they see a ram in the thicket!

Everything just seemed to come together. I was being like Martin Luther. I was in the restroom reading my Bible on my phone app when I received a revelation as I read from Luke 3:16-17. “John answered them all, saying, “I baptize you with water, but he who is mightier than I is coming, the strap of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. His winnowing fork is in his hand, to clear his threshing floor and to gather the wheat into his barn, but the chaff he will burn with unquenchable fire.””‭‭Luke‬ ‭3:16-17‬ ‭ESV‬‬
